[it's been a few dates now and has become quite familiar with Hashirama's apartment and the surrounding area, and is coming over today to surprise him, without the knowledge of Madara!! but he'll know anyway, since there's bugs inside the apartment. but plans to disable those today anyway, if she can get the chance. didn't warn Hashirama she would be heading over, and rubs her arm with her free hand, trying to warm up. is wearing a light dress even if it's the middle of winter. remembered to grab a fluffy white wool scarf and proper footwear though, but forgot to grab a jacket so is pretty cold. and is carrying a basket of goodies, including fresh hot cocoa powder to make some warm drinks.]

[rings the doorbell once, then knocks on the door a few times to get some movement going, trying to get warm while waiting for big scary detective to open the door.]

You wouldn't want this job, really. The pay is low, the hours are hell and maintaining a social life is near on impossible unless its a beer after work with the other guys. [as you can clearly tell.] We only get the satisfaction inside that we have done something to make a difference, we helped saved people's lives. The recognition goes to the commissioner, not us. But we all knew that and it's what we chose after all.

[dreamy sigh! drink your hot chocolate damn it. actually come to think of it, it would have been a good idea to drug it or something. but was too worried about the taste being off so he wouldn't drink it. has to hope she can knock him out the easy way. and if all else fails can always trip over something in his room and knock the furniture askew just enough for him to notice.] It must make you tired. When was the last time you had a full night's sleep?

[sips! doesn't mind doing the cleaning for him, keeps her own place tidy and isn't used to being subservient or anything, but just likes to keep things neat. helps to find things. and in this case, it'll give her a chance to try and disable the bugs. is sure right now Madara or one of his little bastards is listening to and logging every little word they're saying right now, and the thought of it makes her stomach churn. doesn't know what Pein sees in Madara, and though he insists he's just using the Uchiha as a platform, is pretty sure they're the ones being used. so doesn't mind going to lengths to inconvenience that bastard.] When do you think you'll be done with work? I woke up late today so I hope I can keep up with you. [nudges his foot under the table with hers, trying to keep the flirting up to keep the mood nice and loving.]

Not too sure how long it will take, most of it is tedious paperwork. Hopefully there will be enough of the night left to enjoy each other's company for a while longer before sleep. [very observant of that foot but also doesn't want to take it the wrong way at the same time. could have been accidental, innocent flirting... will just try and find that out with a little hand rubbing in return.]

[isn't typical?] It wasn't an official date until you offered to cook me dinner. Now you won't be able to make me leave until I'm fed. [looks down at the simple dress, toying with the little rose pin on the side.] It's more of a summer dress, but with everybody's heaters on it's more comfortable to wear summer clothes indoors. And I understand your silence. Took your breath away, right?
