20) While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. I'm sure I'm supposed to answer with something profound, but up until I realized that I didn't agree with his values I pretty much thought my dad was the greatest thing since Merlin. That's what makes it so hard being estranged from him.

31) What do you consider your greatest achievement? I think that getting mugged on the way to the birth of my children is pretty impressive.

...but seriously, the fact that the triplets haven't somehow convinced me to buy them the moon shows a good amount of willpower on my part, doesn't it?

32) What is your greatest regret? I try not to regret anything, but I do miss my family. I always will, no matter how frustrating they are. I'm glad Adamina's come around, but I don't know if anyone else is going to. It's a scary thought.

57) Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person. Madeleine, love of my life. She's been really wonderful through the whole marriage and ... estrangement from my family. Some days I don't care about anyone else no matter how hard I try, and that's how I know I made the right decision marrying her. Even if she hit me while we had the triplets and she sometimes comes home covered in macaroni and paste. I don't think I've ever had a day go by where I don't wonder how I landed the prettiest girl in Italy, but I try not to think about it too hard when what matters is that I did.

69) Do you care what others think of you? I'd be lying if I said that I didn't care about what other people think about me, but my lifestyle kind of demands that I stop caring. I'm not going to change who I am to be more acceptable, but if it's just that someone doesn't like me giving them a pet name or something ... I'm flexible enough to change it and not be a prat about it.

74) What, if anything, do you like to read? I'll admit that I started reading the triplets comic books as soon as I managed to borrow some from Adamina. I mean, they're half muggle anyway, so they'll just be ahead of the kids in their grade on the 'comic trivia'.

83) What are your pet peeves? Well, that one's easy. People who can't resist using their 'expected values' as an excuse to be assholes ... people who want to harvest their own wand cores. I don't get paid to babysit spoiled assholes.

85) What is your greatest strength as a person? I like to think I'm as stubborn as they get when it comes to my new family. I'm not going to let anything happen to any of them, no matter how short I am in the income department.

97) What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death? Really? I'd just like not to be known as 'that son that the Hookes disowned over something stupid'. Maybe if I have a really violent death or find a new source for wand-cores I'll be rich and they'll make me into a chocolate frog card. That'd be pretty boss.

98) What three words best describe your personality? Are we going off of my words, or Madeleine's? We can go with sexy, rugged and ridiculous on either count.

5) Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people. As of this moment, I'm living in London, England with Ophelia. The house is impeccable and clean as it ought to be, despite some of the shortcomings of the house elves. It's just her and me for the moment, which is for the best. If we ended up having her brother move in, I'm not sure if I would be able to restrain myself. As for Ophelia ... well, she is one of the few women I have met who doesn't make me want to strangle her with her intestines on more than a bi-weekly occasion.

18) Did you enjoy school? I enjoyed it in as much as I enjoyed sizing up my competition and making it as distressing as possible for a few of the less-worthy students.

23) As a child, what were your favorite activities? Contrary to popular belief, I never really did any sort of small animal torture. I liked spending as much time as possible with Dani and I still do. The only difference was that back then I had to watch out for her horrifically awful cat.

29) What do you consider the most important event of your life so far? That one should be obvious: the day that I first became a Death Eater. I'd never felt more like I was doing the right thing in my life. It was a family-approved outlet for my less-than-desireable tendencies to escape through and it afforded me important associates like Bellatrix Lestrange. I don't know what Amery complains about.

31) What do you consider your greatest achievement? Ah, you see ... This one is a little harder. I think that I've done many important things in my life, but my greatest achievement was probably my first serious achievement. Saving my sister from that brute of a husband that she had was at once the best and worst thing I've ever done. It set so many things into motion that made me who I am today.

38) What is your best memory? When I was old enough for my mother to tell me so, she informed me that I would be the one to have children to make the family proud. Mother had decided that I was the clearly superior specimen for producing offspring even at an early age. Honestly, I can't blame her - Amery's too soft and feminine. His wife might get confused and they'd never have children.

67) Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations? That depends on the sort of situation. Perhaps not at balls or anything of that sort - I prefer to watch in that case - but during important missions, I believe it's my duty to make sure that the Dark Lord's will is carried out as efficiently as possible.

76) Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit? I admit to enjoying a good cigar now and again -- and I drink my share when the occasion calls for it. Why? Because sometimes a good drink is far more satisfying than some sort of ridiculous sulking. There's no reason to quit.

78) What makes you laugh? Certain Ministry Officials' body parts underneath a Christmas tree, Bellatrix torturing muggles, Gwendolyn making adorable jokes, homeless wizards who think I'm going to let them live, thinking about Ioan's face after his sister told him we were reconciling.

98) What three words best describe your personality? Obsessive, violent, calculating

20) While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. I think most people who say they don't have role models are either full of themselves or they have a really embarassing role model. I'll go for the old cliche - most of the professional Quidditch players I met growing up were complete assholes but people loved them anyway. Well, you know...all I could think about was being able to be an arse and have few people call me on it as long as I signed their autograph. I don't know kind of a person that makes me.

26) When and with whom was your first kiss? Oh, this question would have to come up. Lyssandra Eberlee, during my 5th year -- she practically attacked me at one of the post-Quidditch parties. That girl's crazy.

44) What are your views on sex? I like to have a lot of it as often as possible, but I don't really get that sort of chance. For some reason or another I don't actually use the bed much, especially since I find that wall and/or door shags end up far more satisfying in the long run. Wasting the extra time to get to the bed ruins the 'moment', or something.

54) Who is the most important person in your life, and why? I'm just all about the cliches, aren't I? Even if he's a ridiculously stupid and accommodating prat with no backbone, Griff's been there for me for longer than pretty much anyone else except my family. He's the one person I can be myself around no matter what: even if he makes fun of me (and Merlin knows that I make fun of him, the girl), I know nothing we talk about is going to leave the room unless he's talking to his little chattering buddy.

55) Who is the person you respect the most, and why? I've always respected my mum, but don't let that get around. She's put up with a lot of shit from me including my ... erm, questionable sexuality. Not many mums will stick around for that, from what I've heard.

56) Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people. Cass and I have gotten pretty close despite the fact that I pretty much tore out her heart, and it's probably good that she hasn't started to completely hate my guts, yet. Quidditch players don't have girlfriends and people get suspicious, you know? I've told her a lot of things I didn't think I'd be telling anyone, let alone some bint. And there's Griff, too ... you're shagging someone on a regular basis, you can't really get away from telling them a lot about you.

65) Who is the person you despise the most, and why? I think it's less a person and more a set of ideals. HA, I know what you're thinking - you're thinking: West, why aren't you putting that Nora Thompson girl here? She's the mother of your boyfriend's child and she's probably going to make your life a living hell if she can help it. Contrary to popular belief, I'm not actually that much of an asshole. And thinking from my point of view .... well, if people didn't care so damn much that I was in love with a bloke, Griff wouldn't have had to get a girlfriend in the first place and then Nora wouldn't even be an issue.

74) What, if anything, do you like to read? Read? Well, if I get really desperate I'll read the 'making of' history on the side of the firewhisky bottle...

88) Are you generally introverted or extroverted? Even if I were introverted, which I'm not ... Quidditch players tend to be forcibly extroverted, you know? Considering that our faces get plastered all over the place, it's easier just to go with it.

92) What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...) I don't know how 'adventurous' I am, really. Quidditch is dangerous, I guess, and running my mouth with the reporters is always an adventure ... so as long as that counts we're good. As long as I'm an asshole to the press and try to keep up my 'manly' quota, they don't ask questions. That's the real reason, but the reason I always go with is because I 'just can't help it'. I'm sure most of the reporters know that's bullshit, but those prats are rarely interested in the actual truth. As long as they sell papers it doesn't matter, does it? That's just fine with me.
