Sarah had been in Gotham for far too long. She had done everything asked of her to the best of her ability too and it still was not enough. After her last meeting with the person she was forced to work for she was hit with a deep wave of depression and helplessness.

Which is why she hadn't gone out to scare up some trouble. Instead she was well into her second bottle of wine and still taking a bubble bath trying to feel better. It really wasn't helping. She just kept getting more and more blue feeling the longer she sat there in the still hot water.

Slowly she stretches and drains off some water so she can not only add more hot water to the tub but she needed to rinse her hair again.

It was because of that she din't detect someone finding their way into the darkened safe house.

	She had just gotten really comfortable too. To the point where she had tilted her head so her cheek could rest against him. "I've tried to in the past," she admits. "Or do you think I'm in the habit of letting anyone see me slipping out of a place I'm robbing?" She looks up at him with a raised eyebrow. Really. A master thief like her getting caught? He just raises an eyebrow back. "And you don't think I know some potential mob targets? Enough to perhaps anticipate where you'll be found once in a while?" It's clear what he's thinking, just because she was good enough not to get caught by most people didn't mean she was good enough not get caught by him. Hell, Catwoman was occassionally caught off guard too.

"I mean...something more than the odd hint I make you give up in exchange for letting you go. If there's something big and dangerous...tell me?" He knows he's asking a lot here but he has to. Gotham came above all.

	"I can do that," she agrees. She looks up at him with a faint smile. "I kind of enjoy getting chased by you. You're very good at catching me." She closes her eyes again as she relaxes against him. 	"Thanks a lot Sarah," he leans down a bit to give her a quick kiss as thanks. "Oh but the prize at the end is always good, why wouldn't I chase?" 	Which he doesn't mind at all. They were both a little lonely, and there was no reason he couldn't enjoy this (thankfully he'd shut up innerBat in order to do so). "Hey! Funny on your end, and fine I'll admit I'd laugh too if I didn't need to deal with it. Waited twenty to see if they'd get in, put tracers on their leader and their lookout, left to go break up a mugging and a bar fight then went for a hotdog. When I got back they had just broken in. I mean...all that waiting just to charge them with something."

He smirks down at her, "Well an hour with you would mean fifteen at most inside the place and then the rest having a fun chase across town. You have no idea how much I prefer that."

He can't help but tease. "Foxy...you and I both rely on not getting caught to do our jobs. Are you really that worried?" Now he's positively grinning. "And who said anything about robbing places? We can do museum round two or something like that. Or just a good old fashioned chase."

He leans down so their noses are almost brushing, "If you ask nicely I might give you an extra headstart."

Hands. He should really do something about those. Not to mention she wasn't exactly sober and even if this was a normal relationship he'd count that as taking advantage of her. Which is the last thing he wants to happen.

Taking both of her wandering hands in his, he uses them to tug her closer and steal a kiss. Well if he was going to be stopping this there was no reason he couldn't do it in a more fun way.

"How about I tuck you in and then another night I find you on a roof your usual self and we can have that chase?"

He hopes she doesn't notice he's managed to smear blood on her hand. Mood killer if any. Although it'd solve his problem, not that he really wants it done that way.

He's going to do this without straight out turning her down. Because she's really not sober among other reasons. But damnit why did they have to tease each other so well? He really did want to join her.

"I mean there's a chance you won't remember much of this in the morning and I don't want to take that chance Foxy," he teases a little. Well he didn't turn her down bluntly. Hell that was hardly a no. More like a 'another time' proposition. Although he's not sure how he's going to keep pulling this off, she was awfully hard to resist.

	That makes her decide she has to kiss him again. The kind of kiss that should be curling both of their toes the way she goes about it. When she breaks the kiss and just smiles at him. The kiss has him entirely forget whatever noble intentions he has for a second, and he almost pushes her back onto the couch to ravage her and take her up on that offer. Luckily she breaks it off just before he follows through on that.

In that moment it takes to recover his sense he blinks at her then huffs. Well he might only be putting her to bed but no reason he couldn't get a bit of revenge for that.

So without warning he picks her up and slings her over his shoulder to carry her back to her bedroom.

To put her to sleep of course. He'll be a gentleman.

	She couldn't help the very girlish giggle that slipped out. She's still a little bit innocent in some ways. And once she's sober she will first be a bit embarrassed by her behavior then make plans to educe the socks off of Robin. He can keep the mask on. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
