Mob Boss AU-- The Fox is out
Sarah had been a good girl for months. She did everything Batman wanted her to do. She had to change some things up to keep things from going to hell but she kept the over all spirit of what he wanted. Sarah did well. Business was good and she was discreetly making sure different groups got money they needed. Charities and community out reach groups.

She didn't think that Batman knew about it or if he did he wasn't saying.

This though is something he better not find out about. Someone put a hit out on Freddo. She was looking into it using her special skill set. It would hurt her way too much if she lost him. She had lost too much in her life already. They would not take him.

Thomas often came to the big cat house when he needed to think, relax a bit, get out of the house, anything really, he came here pretty often. Zoo passes for a reason.

He's wearing something similar, dark jeans, deep blue shirt that makes his eyes stand out even more, and a new, well kept, leather jacket. While sitting on a bench and just watching the ocelots he notices the woman walking by. And no, not just for her legs, which certainly warranted noticing, but because even with the change in wardrobe...that was the mafia boss woman he'd talked to before. Doubtful she was on business or meeting someone but just to be sure he should check.

From his spot on the bench he waits for her to come closer and by the ocelot area before he shoots her a relaxed but charming smile. "Hi."

She had stopped briefly to watch one of the ocelots. She glances at him noting that he was.... pretty good looking. She doesn't see him as anything but a guy.

And the funny thing is right now Thomas will get to hear something pretty close to the real Sarah. "Hello."

See? Even her accent which is quite peculiar sticks out. Vaguely French and Farsi undertones get mixed in.

	At that oddly honest and open response he tilts his head to the seat next to him to indicate she can sit if she'd like. "Never just one thing now is it?" He smiles and nods and drops the topic. She wouldn't be sharing anything he didn't know. "You know, it's much better they have the ocelots here where there's only supposed to be big cats. Still in the same family but they figure it's exotic enough to fly by putting them here. But it's good, they get more of an audience and appreciation this way." And the charities that helped them got more awareness and money, always a good thing in his book. He was fond of these little cats.

"They really are," he said with a genuine smile, cats always got that out of him. "Well it should be well set up, they got enough money to do it right. Donations and all. Tigers need their space, and good trees." Not that he'd mention he had a large hand in those donations. He'd made sure the Wayne Foundation sponsored wildlife initiatives and made sure that the animals in the zoos were well taken care of.

Though he'd admit that the trees were great for late night visits here.

"Has to if it's going to keep being one of the best," he smiled. Yes a large part was from the Wayne Foundation, but someone had to lead by example. Other companies had started donating once they did, which pleased him more.

He outright laughs at her description of Gotham. It's not entirely humourless but anyone who knows him would know he didn't laugh like that often. "Ah, that's one way of putting it. She's unforgiving certainly, chews you up, spits you out, and yet still manages to make you want to stay. So of course it has to have some nice features right?" He winks.

"Ah, so you are a patron then?" She smirks but isn't going to press. Money isn't important to her. The thrill of a good heist is what is important.

She misses a good heist. She still feels like that son of a bitch is controlling her from beyond the grave. He still owns her ass.

"Oui. She is like that. I do not know I would stay if....unfinished business was suddenly cleared up. I am not a Gotham native. Not American either. I miss Europe. The buildings are...They have a different kind of character and history. Gotham is young. Not even a teenager."

That has him look amused. "Anyone who throws a coin in the donation box once in a while can be considered a patron, so yes I suppose I am."

"As for Gotham...despite being one of the oldest cities in the country, it is still young. I do hope your...unfinished business clears up, even if it does mean I won't be running into you here." Unfinished business was putting it mildly...

	She gets a phone alert. She checks her phone and her mouth twitches slightly. There goes her day off. "Pardon. Something has come up."
