Well I've always found that songs manage to convey my feelings better than words ever have. Not saying you need to serenade the guy, or that you should, but the right song just might give you the inspiration to tell him how you feel. Music can be one of the most powerful things in the world.

I've also found that wine can help with inspiration, but too much leads to word vomit. Or actual vomit. Neither help your cause.
