Julian always had a thing for Sofia in spite of how he could antagonize her that was no secret to anyone. But then again they knew he had a thing for every girl though for him there had always been something different about Sofia to him which no one else seemed to pick up on.

Julian saw her flying out the window during an advising session he was supposed to be paying attention to Emma Frost. Unlike the usual for him he was not paying attention to what Emma was saying and was watching Sofia wanting to get about of there to annoy her a bit.

Suddenly Emma dropped a book causing a big slam bring his attention back. “For love of god, Julian just go out there, be a man, and ask her out already,” she said clearly annoyed with him pointing to the door.

That was a shock to his system but one he clearly needed. He was out the door with a green aura flying outside. He was soon flying behind her like he usually did trying to think of what to say when Sofia stopped flying and turned around.

“What do you want now Julian,” she asked.

“Dinner just you and me,” he said putting on his most charming smile he could.

“What did you just say,” Sofia asked almost in a state of shock.

“Dinner just you and me,” He repeated, “Nice restaurant. You know you want too.”

“OK Julian but if you try anything you will regret it,” Sofia said.

Julian had never felt this nervous before but he loved her and she loved him and he knew what her answer would be. He had worked very hard to make sure this would be a surprise to her and that she wouldn’t overhear anything with her powers which had gotten him in trouble before.

He had managed to talk someone into cooking a fancy dinner for him and her while he did the cooler set up. A white table cloth, candles and a table set up down by the lake at the school. He then set up what he thought would be really cool and showing off, Almost one hundred roses held up floating in the air with his telekinesis.

He of course was dress looking hot if he didn’t say so himself, of course he felt downright chilly compared to Sofia when he saw her coming down. She was impressed with all of this and how he had somehow managed to hide it from her.

After a lovely dinner they stayed there talking he had put the roses down a while ago so he could focus more on her.

“Julian I still can believe you did all of this, it was a great surprise,” Sofia said.

“The best is yet to come,” Julian said getting on one knee in front of her. He then pulling a ring box out of his pocket and opened it. “Sofia Mantega will you marry me.”

“Yes,” she said then let him put the ring on her finger.

Miranda Mantega-Keller was the center of her parents’ world. Most people were surprised that Sofia and Julian had managed to last as long as they had but seeing them with Miranda it was impossible to see them a part. She has Sofia’s looks and Julian’s Black hair. When her powers manifested she could hear things on the winds and had a telekinesis that had a grey swirling effect when used.
