~02~ Oh, fantastic.
I wasn't scheduled until a later shift today, but everyone got called in this morning. I mean everyone. I don't even know if KV is legitimate based on how many patients I've seen today claiming to have symptoms, all of them brunettes. But some of them work in the first district, or work with blondes, or know people who say they work in the first district... etc., etc. They're convinced it's airborne, which doesn't make sense based on what the Masenshi stated, but there's no convincing them. I'm sure there are some people out there that have remained calm but that's the thing, they're safe at home or work not worrying about it, so I can't be sure.

I spoke with Dr. Ichinose and he agrees with me about it not being airborne, but still we're stuck wearing surgical masks and are already running short on supply of them due to high demand.

The other doctors don't seem to know what to think, but no patient wants to be seen by blondes, which is problematic because the rest of the staff aren't trained to actually diagnose or treat patients.

Rumor has it that two blondes are already in critical condition at the hospital over at [street] and [street], but rumor also has it that KV affects brunettes by turning their hair blonde. So there you go.

I'm trying to get ahold of a friend at one of the hospitals in the first district, to see if she's found any trace of the KV cases the Masenshi referenced, but she's probably in the same situation I am.

Ugh, so much for giving up coffee. And there goes my five minute lunch break, maybe I should have, you know, actually eaten something?
