The grip turns into sort of an awkward one-armed hug. Gods, she's terrible at this. Leadership instincts and wanting to help these people combined with trying so hard not to get too close ever again.
"Its ok. Its ok. Things happen. But we need to be careful." She can't judge what sort of worlds anyone came from. "There's times we have to kill. times I've had to kill... but its only when we have to."
