Tim Dugan rubbed his eyes and looked at the clock. It was already 6am. How did it get to be that time? He had swore to himself that he would go back to his apartment tonight. That was at 2am. Looks like he missed that deadline. Again. He lost track of time quite frequently when he was working.

He was almost done with this latest project. He promised himself that once it was done he would take a week off and head to the Southwest for some quality rock climbing. It felt like it had been ages since he had taken some time off and did something for himself.

He rubbed his eyes and then picked up a nearby coffee mug. Empty. Figured. He stood up and headed for the mess to get some more liquid tar.

"Maybe. Maybe not." He was always very secretive about his projects, even when they weren't classified.

"You see, it's the ones that are bigger than a breadbox, smaller than a spaceship where I always get confused," Jack says as he makes his way over.

"Size never matters much," Tim said. "It's the punch it packs." Yes, it was a weapon he was working on, but he'd never actually say it.

"Size matters when you're trying to figure out how to carry the thing," Jack says goodnaturedly.

"I leave how to carry it up to you. I just design the things."
