the short version of the story is that they went behind my back and told my best friend something that wasn't true intentionally to make her angry at me. and it wasn't something she didn't realize would make her angry or something that she misunderstood, it was like really catty. if that makes sense. it was the sort of thing that i know there's no way wasn't malicious, you know, she knew what she was doing
