idg how anyone can say even things like friendships are planned ooc (unless they...obviously are like in backstoried or with stuff that HAS to be planned ooc since our characters didn't just meet each other when the comm started) considering a lot of the "surprising" friendships were genuinely surprising and i doubt all of those people commented the other ooc like HEY WOULDN'T IT BE COOL IF OUR REALLY DIFFERENT CHARACTERS WERE FRIENDS? OKAY LET'S DO IT

the only planning in my friendship sls has been "hey let's thread together!" or giving each other customs

i don't see that as being ooc driven like i think some people are trying to say, and i also don't think it's ooc driven to be like hey let's say they met back in 1st year maybe my character shared some candy with yours on the train and in third year he tried holding her hand and she kicked him in the knee...all of that seems normal but i feel like they're trying to say we just im each other ooc like HEY LET'S SAY OUR CHARACTERS ARE FRIENDS AND NEXT WEEK WE SHOULD HAVE THEM EAT LUNCH TOGETHER AND AFTER THAT THEY CAN DATE AND IN 30 DAYS I'D LIKE THEM TO SAY I LOVE YOU

ia only my character's best friends were planned because their backgrounds together are extensive and naturally that can lead to oh crap we don't click at all but we do and it's beautiful
