yeah the only part that doesn't fit are the manic/depressive episodes obviously but considering idt freddie's meant to have bpd i think this is the closest fit otherwise

i don't think they're extreme enough to be a "symptom" but the inappropriate anger (i.e. breaking sasha's face, slicing ewan like a ham, etc) and then the impulsiveness like with the euphoria elixir abuse kind of factors in i think BUT I'M NO EXPERT

ia absolutely and either way freddie's very obviously depressed even if there's no easy way to narrow it down

i'm close with someone who as bpd so i'm aware i just personally don't see the "cycling" in freddie's behavior but that's my opinion

not the oc but as someone who interacts with her i sort of see it though the cycling could be explained by things going on with her also and not necessarily a mental illness, i just know she's never medium about anything she's always extreme with whatever she's feeling like extremely sad, extremely angry, extremely happy etc

ia that the cycling is based very much on what's happened to her which is the main reason why i don't think she's bpd. she's always been high when life's good for her (you see this in her relationships mostly) and low when it isn't (what's going on with her family, break-ups, etc)

i've seen mania in freddie but it's not always displayed as positive, that's not what manic is, it's more of an increase in energy

ia isn't manic just...acting out like it says with blowing money, doing drugs, basically thinking you're invincible and not needing sleep that sort of thing rather than :) :) :) I'M HAPPY :)

i don't know why you all jumped to the conclusion that i assumed that's what a manic episode is >:(
