the fact i dnw to go to this party tonight but i feel like i should because i haven't seen my friend in a while and i know my mom will guilt trip me for it even though SHE is skipping out. but i don't feel like drinking and i don't have the money to spend on a whole tank of gas to get myself there and back, which is a legitimate excuse but i also feel like because i keep justifying why i can't/don't want to go is making me seem like a bad friend

	if you don't have enough money to get yourself from and back, i think that's not an excuse just a reality and you shouldn't go tbh. it's bad you haven't seen your friend in a while but you can find some other time when you have a bit more extra money and there is no shame in not wanting to drink or just not wanting to party (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	and my sister said the same thing so i know i'm right and it's not something i should feel bad about. i think i'm just not looking forward to my mom coming home from work and scoffing and making some comment about how i just don't want to leave me room or something stupid and inaccurate (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
