then no, not at all. he's never really had the confidence before to even think about pursuing someone romantically, but that's changed a bit since he's gotten more confident. and lately he's been frustrated with the idea that his peers think he is really innocent and naive because he hasn't done much in comparison to them as far as that stuff goes, but no. he's going at his own pace with everything and i don't think he'd use someone else to vicariously live through their experience when his own first time is something he puts on a pedestal in a way
