	this isn't about anyone at sorters don't worry but i used to be really close to this person like i mean it was the sort of thing where i thought the sun shined out of their ass but now i'm slowly starting to dislike them and resent them and i don't know what to do about it because i'm hanging onto history together and longevity but at the same time i'm like fuck i hate you (Reply to this)(Thread)

	it is, but it's better to just get it over with instead of prolonging it, because it will just get worse. they might not really know what's going on and in the end instead of having a somewhat friendship, they will end up disliking you for what you felt even if it's normal in some cases (Reply to this)(Parent)

this has happened to me before and i dragged it on until they started to resent me too and were angry because things weren't going to be as good as they were and we argued A LOT to the point of ridiculousness and when we finally made up it was just better to be the sort of friends that said hi every 6 months. i would try to cut ties before things get worse even if you're putting it off because that was one of my regrets
