where does it say that in canon? if you were born in america or france or germany and moved to england i don't think they'd make you move back just for school, esp since draco mentioned almost attending durmstrang

no you just have to live in the uk when you're of an age that magic starts to show up because let's say you're born in the uk but your family moves to australia. why the fuck would they send you across the world for school?

doesn't hogwarts admit by the magical quill writing names on a list at birth? it's not like she had a hand in her admission it was predetermined and idt it'd be common knowledge for ever 11 year old to know only people from the uk go since most anons don't even know
