Oh My Gosh...I think I'm going to be an AVON salesperson. It's better than nothing and I can do it while I'm looking for a full time gig. I don't think AVON tests on animals so I'm cool. Funny thing is...I don't wear make up.

Be very wary of AVON. They are borderline pyramid scheme and can really end up ripping you off for a large amount of your time invested. Especially since you have to BUY the supplies and then resell them off.

http://www.epinions.com/content_834969732 one of several articles you can find online about it.

Yeah, I have been reading up on them and I will be wary of it. I've been looking for a job forever and the sales rep was super nice and wasn't pushy at all. So I thought I might give it a shot. Thank you for your insight it will keep it at the forefront of my mind.

As long as you have done your research and keep it in mind. Lots of friends of mine have fallen to this out of desperation for a job. Have you considered pinecone research for a bit of extra cash? Have you been browsing CL for options? I was fortunate enough to find a medical study I qualified for and that's going to be a major help in between my unemployment. In my area they are either looking for healthy individuals or those who suffer from anxiety, depression, or insomnia. Perhaps there is something in your area as well. Medical trials are often very good money and they take excellent care of you, as long as you follow everything (like not get pregnant/get someone else pregnant while under the drug, etc).

Thanks you for the link and advice. I have done surveys like clearvoice and I had flipped through the CL employment section more than I would like to say. I have thought about the medical trials but haven't looked into it. I think I will now.
