I really, really want to let all this drop.

1) Nothing was done behind your back.
2) Those apps were GOING TO BE APPROVED. I don't know how many times I have to say that.
3) I never received any emails about the Defenders that didn't come from you, other than a general mass mailing from Jeff to all the players who might be interested. You're right, I didn't answer that because we discussed it all in chat. I have no idea what other emails you're referring to. I did not and do not ignore player emails. Ever.
4) "Atlantean" =/= "godlike". The character in question isn't even the most powerful character currently in the game.
5) There is no clique. Sure, I've known the player in question a long time. I've known you a long time, too.

Honestly, an email requesting clarification on some points before a group of characters that were going to change the scope of the game, just because we didn't have any deities or cosmic PCs before is not a "hassle". There were some points that you hadn't considered, that needed to be brought up. I never expected nor intended anyone to leave the game over it.
