First meeting
Daddy had said no leaving the state. But...he'd also said a whole bunch of stuff about practice makes perfect and challenging oneself. Granted, those things had not been in the same conversation with each other but...details.
So Janie takes a detour on her flight practice. She's not technically leaving the state...just flying right along the border.
