i think it was supposed to be hinted at when she was all "idk where this leaves us" but at the same time i feel like if he found out THEN it would have distracted from her internal panic of OH FUCK THERE IS GALE LOOKING AT ME DOES HE REALIZE IT WAS AN ACT?
