Werewolves Attack Diagon Alley!
We previously reported the escape of six dangerous werewolves and regret to report that there was an attack on Diagon Alley associated with these six individuals. As last night was the full moon, the civilians attacked are all either in critical condition or suffered fatality. "We're doing everything we can to comfort the victims of this horrible attack, but their futures don't look too bright. The bite of a werewolf as you may know serves as the catalyst for an inner change in the individual, pulling them into the clan of werewolves. Families of all individuals who are alive but in critical condition have been informed," reported one St. Mungo's worker.
Of course, there are some people who see this as proof that the new leadership in London is incapable of keeping this country from falling apart at the seams. "The ministry certainly has a mess on their hands. I'm sure the last thing Minister Conway wanted was having more werewolves at hand in the midst of a very turbulent few weeks," stated Barnaby Tuttle, a ministry analyst.
The most unfortunate story resulting from these attacks, of course, must be the deaths. So far, only one woman has been identified, mostly due to the extremely gruesome amount of mangling dealt to these individuals during their struggle. Noralie Thompson, a primary school teacher. Services will be held Monday, May 4th at her parent's home in Ipswitch in the late morning. Nora, as she was called by friends, was currently teaching second years at Artemisia Lufkin Primary in Southern England. Some may remember her whirlwind romance with Griffith Kirkham, keeper for the Caerphilly Catapults, and the shocking news that she was playing surrogate mother for him and West Sumpter, beater for the Tutshill Tornadoes. Despite these rumors, over the past months, Ms. Thompson was spotted multiple times spending quality time with her daughter. Ms. Thompson is survived by daughter Penelope Kirkham, brothers Nathan and Mark Thompson, and parents Rolonda and Gregory Thompson.
Aurors are urging extreme caution when exiting the house during full moons. Many deaths and accidents are preventable by simply keeping aware of your surroundings noted Head Auror, Alastor Moody, urging citizens of the UK to maintain constant vigilance. If you fear that a loved one may be the victim of these attacks, the ministry is encouraging citizens to owl the ministry itself rather than clogging up the post system at St. Mungos while looking for answers.
