Fire ravages London estate, no survivors

LATE LAST NIGHT, a neighboring estate reported a fire underway at the residence of Octavia Lestrange. By the time help arrived on the scene, much of the structure was engulfed by the flames. Although neighbors reported the home to be empty, under the assumption that the witch of the manor and young daughter were out of the country, this was not so. After extinguishing the fire, the bodies of Lestrange and fifteen month old daughter, Lenore, were recovered. No knowledge of their supposed traveling or sudden return is known to the press at this time. Investigators report signs of forced entry and residual spell use around these points, but can neither confirm nor deny that it was arson.

In February of this year, husband Rabastan Lestrange, alongside brother and sister-in-law, Rodolphus and Bellatrix Lestrange, was outed as a supporter of You-Know-Who and received a life sentence in Azkaban for the torture of Aurors Frank and Alice Longbottom. Lestrange claimed innocence after the conviction of her husband and was a pillar of the business community in Diagon Alley. She and her daughter are survived by sister, Saoirse Borgin, and brother, Augustus Borgin.

No, this---this absolutely cannot be true. Octavia is certainly not---

I agree. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Why must it have been her! She has done nothing to no one, and that innocent child even less---I cannot fathom this. They were innocent of anything that could have warranted such barbaric cruelty!

Too often the world chooses to strike down the pillars of our community. Cruel, yes, but still true.
