"I wouldn't have chosen now for you to get pregnant, though, if I'd been exercising sound judgment, this wouldn't have happened. I'd have used to protection." Scott says.
"It's not that I don't want a child with you, Emma. It's just that...I've failed as a father before, and I don't want to do that to another child. And we're fighting a war. What kind of life is that to give a baby?" he asks.
