Scott Summers/Cyclops ([info]monochromesight) wrote in [info]thewhitequeen,
Scott had been up since before dawn trying to figure out if Namor could be lying about this child. He had to be. If Emma had had a child with Namor, Scott wasn't sure what he'd do.

He knew that Emma had a past, but it seemed like every new secret he learned was bigger than the last one. And if the baby was really hers...did he have the right to stand in the way of her getting to know her child? Emma, for all of her claims to the contrary, had a caring heart scarred by years of abuse. She loved children.

There was no way she'd let her own child go without a fight unless she didn't have a choice.

Eventually, he'd have to go and check on Emma. The only problem was that he didn't know what he'd say.

So Scott sat as his desk a bit longer and tried not to let sleep overtake him.
