Sample Post (Two months ago)
Dealing with S.H.I.E.L.D. was nerve-wracking, to say the least. Jason's not happy with being summoned here; he likes working on his own time at his own pace, but he's here. He doesn't feel like he has any right to complain as it is. Jacob is the one doing hard time in Bentonville State Penitentiary, mostly on Jason's behalf. Jason learned years ago not to trust anyone on the side of the law, after Grandpa died, but if working with people like S.H.I.E.L.D. could get his older brother any kind of leniency or a commuted sentence, the Jason owed to him, and Gran, to try.
He walks into the meeting area and sits down, waiting to meet with his "handler". It should say something about him that they think he requires one, but Jason doesn't think on it. He's busy going over, in his head, the gun that he'd built during breakfast this morning. Gran hadn't been happy to see him 'working the trade' as they all called it. She'd gone into a lengthy tirade about guns being the reason Jake was in jail, and Jason felt badly after she left the room...for about three minutes.
"Nine milimeter, single shot or three-round burst selection, and thirteen shots. The kick alone would likely blow a man's head off, reattach it and blow it off again, but would probably also break the user's collarbone. Definitely need a stabilization device of some kind while keeping the weapon compact and able to be worn bodily. Built-in silencer would also make things quiet, in case Jake even needs to take care of business." Jason says aloud and wholly to himself.
This is how he thinks about his inventions and passes the time until his contact shows up.
