"Yes," the man quietly deadpans. "Because while being a single father puts a real damper on your dating life, explaining that the woman you went home from a nightclub with could grow horns and open huge cracks in the ground really makes things easier." He looks to Blood. "Jude Roth. I haven't seen Angelica since she brought Sally over as a baby and had her little...freakout. Sally didn't show any signs of...anything odd until a few years ago, and it wasn't really anything you couldn't chalk up to her being really pretty until, well, now.
