Games Night
Admittedly, this isn't their usual date night, but the reservations had fallen through. Some sort of block closure due to super hero battle, so Buck arranged to do the cooking while Anya got one of her video game consoles hooked up. He's not the greatest in the kitchen - so he skipped the kitchen, by and large, to barbecue hamburgers.

Anya was quite happy to stay in for their date night. While it was nice to go out, it was also nice to stay in. It wasn't about where they went or what they did, it was about spending time with Buck.

Tonight would be spending that time kicking his butt at video games. It had been ages since she had played any kind of video game, or wrote one for that matter. Something she needed to do again.

"Is there anything in particular you would like to have your ass kicked in?"
