AU Meme (4, 12): At first sight (Etoile)
Vlad smiled as he walked down the streets of Moscow, turning to take a shortcut to his small apartment not too far from campus. An exchange year in Moscow had definitely been a good decision, he was having a great time, plus his Russian was definitely better now too. Not that it had been bad before, but using it more had been a help. He adjusted the bag on his shoulder and began jogging lightly.

"Nice to meet you as well." She smiled back at him. Released her hold on his hand, she found herself lingering a little longer with holding it. She sighed at herself, act natural Etoile...act natural. Etoile perks up when he repeats her last name."Oh?" She says.

Right now she isn't sure if she should even be giving off her last name, or her first name. Mental slap to the forehead is occurring. Some spy she turned out to be. Etoile suddenly disappears behind him to try and gain her composer back.

	He gives her his natural wide smile in return again, if he noticed the handshake lingering there was no complaint or any indication it wasn't anything but welcome. 	Etoile blinked and blushed when he noticed her walking behind him. Clearing her throat, she moved to stand next to him."I'm fine...just reevaluating myself ~~and my stupidity~~." She already told him her name, might as well let him know about her father."Remy LeBeau is my father." She said with a wide grin. Completely, totally proud and happy she can express it. At the name he couldn't help but laugh, because what were the chances really? "Nice!" He lowered his voice to a whisper just in case. "Gambit huh? Fancy running into you here then. Now you totally have to take me up on the coffee offer at least to catch up on things." Because while he'd never met her, and only knew a bit about Gambit, X-men were like family regardless and this was ridiculously cool that he'd run into her here. Though he didn't think Gambit would be too happy that he'd been thinking about how cute the girl here was. Well she was very pretty, it was to be expected really.

Etoile blinked at his over excited about finding out who her father is. Later one she chuckled at him."Yup. Gambit. My mother is Sage also..." Why is she confessing to him so openly? If her brother knew about this he would kill. No spy openly outs who their family is, let alone their own name."Coffee? Well, I have time for that..not like I'm doing anything overly productive." She confessed. She smiled at him and continued walking with him.

	Okay, now he felt bad that he'd made her feel bad for a moment there. He probably should mention the whole Xmen thing to make her feel a bit better. "Don't worry about it," he smiled at her and patted her shoulder, before leaning in a bit closer and whispering with a grin. "Xmen blood here too, I get it," he winked. Etoile blushed when he leans in closer to whisper...she felt goose bumps formulate all over. She glanced at him from the corner of her when he said X-Men. He, himself is a fellow X-Men, she let out a sigh of relief. Made her feel better, still all of the X-Men are unaware of the secret spy's Xavier uses.

"Just...promise me not to repeat anything. Try..." She said softly. She knows shes asking a lot out of him, even know be barely knows her.

	Etoile looks away blushing still. She barely had human contact as of lately, she had no clue how to act around people, let alone a boy. "Okay...good. I'll believe you." she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings and walked into a near by pole of sorts. This took her off guard, causing her to bounce back in shock and embarrassment. "Good, so-Whoa watch out!" At last moment he took her arm to pull her away from the pole she'd nearly walked into. "They put those things in the worst places don't they? You alright?" She seemed a bit spaced out or distracted, but maybe he was making her uncomfortable he figured. Not that he intended to, he really was trying his best to make her feel more relaxed and less worried about that slip up before especially.

	Etoile returns said friendly smile shyly. Truly wishes she could handle boys better. She blames her lack of social skills and her father.
