Test Scene

Marcus had broken up a hard drug operation in Gotham earlier this week. He had broken into where they were based and taken care of the filthy, rotten crooks inside. However the boss had gotten away in the chaos of the shootout. He was not happy about that and had been tracking him across the country like a bloodhound and had finally caught up to him in Star City.

He wanted to just head in there and shoot the place up but that wasn’t smart. This wasn’t his turf and guy was a clever son of a bitch. So he was doing a quick stake out before he made his entrance on the building across the street.

Tim dodges the shots easily, moving behind the cover of several boxes to minimize his visibility. Jason hadn't lost a step in his old age it seemed. Hopefully, he was still easy to piss off.

Red Robin aims another disk at the overhead lights, trying to destroy them so that he can cut down Red Hood's visibility. He knows it won't stop him fully, but it'll make him think and maybe give the gangsters time to get away.

He might not be Jason but Marcus was still easy to piss off. With his focus off the gangsters some of them made their getaway. In retrospect he realizes that he should have set up some traps to deal with the runners but live and learn.

When the disk take out the light Marcus keeps shooting at here he thinks Red Robin is using his other sense to attempt to locate him. “Cheap tricks is that all you got,” he yells at him.

Red Robin doesn't answer. He simply reaches into his belt for a couple of tear gas grenades and slips on his gas mask.

He tosses them in the direction of Red Hood's voice and counts down from ten. He's pretty sure the tear gas won't be an issue, but he wants to cut down the other man's visibility and try to bring the fight to close-quarters, eliminating the range of the handguns.

When he reaches the count of one, Red Robin slips from behind the boxes, moving as silently as he can to maneuver around Red Hood.

The hood provided pretty good protection from the gas so that doesn’t worry him to much but the gas reduces the visibility even more. Still Marcus does take shoots at where he though the grenades but he’s fairly certain Red Robin’s moved by now.

He listens for any clues as to where his opponent might be coming from next. He stops firing the guns, if he keeps shooting like this he’s going to have to reload.

	Red Robin is a quiet as possible as he moves into position behind Red Hood. He's almost there when his foot brushes a bullet casing and kicks across the floor, against a crate. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Tim berates himself mentally. He attempts a punch at Red Hood, trying to drop him and end the fight quickly. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	With this much lack of visibility the guns were not going to be every useful. Marcus quickly puts the guns away listening. He then hears the skidding of the casting as it moves across the floor. It had to be Red Robin, all the thugs capable of running had already ran away. He quickly throws up a block against the incoming attack. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Tim expects Red Hood to block him right out of the gate; it would have disappointed him to have taken him down so quickly. He immediately shifts and aims a kick toward the man's mid-section. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The kick catches Tim in the ribs. There's a grunt, but his body armor takes most of the blow. Red Robin ducks and tries to sweep Red Hood's legs out from under him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Over confident from his earlier success he is unable to avoid the sweep and falls. Rolling over Marcus grabs a taser from inside his jacket. He then waits for Red Robin to hopeful get closer before he strikes out with the taser. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Red Robin springs back to his feet and whips out his Bo staff. The metallic staff springs appears in his hands. He whirls the staff around and waits for Red Hood to make his next move, trying to circle around him into a better position. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	“Clever,” Marcus says as he put the taser away and grabs the knife strapped to his leg. He was going to need it given how good he knew this guy was with that staff. He the springs forward at Red Robin thinking that such a sudden attack might catch him off guard. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Well that went about as well as Marcus should have expected. “Ouch,” he said but the Kevlar shirt did help weaken the strike from the staff a bit. With the staffs reach it was going to take some work to get in close enough for an attack. Marcus comes at Red Robin with a knife slash. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He had gotten close with that attack. However given how aggressive the attack was Marcus could recover in time to defend himself. The kick connects sending him toppling backwards. He lands in a roll that lets him quickly back up on his feet but putting away from Red Robin again. (Reply to this)(Parent)
