Personality and History: → Originally hired as something of a PR-stunt for the hitwizards, a sort of 'look, we have people who are both female and able to handle the press in a personable fashion'; has been looking to be taken seriously since then.

→ French father, English mother - sent to Beauxbatons on her mother's (bossy) insistence. Mother grew up middle-class, but became quickly used to her husband spoiling her and consequently picked up the habit of being snotty. Became a hitwizard largely to spite her mother's angles over her becoming a barefoot-and-pregnant housewife to an upstanding French wizard. Father has always been very polite and loving, but still a doormat to her mother's whims. Mother has a chip on her shoulder over being a halfblood herself, she'd just love to have the rest of the world forget about that and think she was a pureblood like her husband (part of the reason she married a foreigner in the first place).
