So have things settled down over there, or are you still busy being incredibly important?

[/Alastor]

I've come to realize that when people are cooped away in thier houses, because they aren't able to travel to any wizarding location without an escort, they eat a lot of cake.

I've also come to realize that people who are very depressed and/or bored eat a lot of cake.

Hm. Maybe there's some sort of odd connection there.

I probably should be jumping up and down with joy, since the shop is doing very well, but when I think about why it sort of puts a damper on my good spirits.

Talk about a rain cloud hovering over a parade, right?

Well! You would have to stop deliveries if you wanted people to get out of the house, and that would make everything more difficult.

People aren't leaving their houses because they don't have an escort, maybe you could help find escorts!

Or maybe their houses are just that nice I know mine is

Find them escorts?

And how will that help them, exactly?

I feel like they'd rather stuff thier face with pastries and have no one know about it, than travel with a stranger just to eat away thier misery.

I'm sure thier houses don't seem that lovely when they act as prisons. I'm glad that I don't work in a wizarding establishment, because I know for a fact that I'd be pissed if I had to get a pureblood to hold my hand everytime I needed to do my job.

Errrrrrrrrrrrr duh, help them get throughout the wizarding world without being beat up by rude ministry officials? And THEIR, Veronica, it's spelled--

Okay, fine, then I don't know why exactly you're complaining if you'd rather not help these people get out of their houses the only legal way you can. All I'm saying is that they'd probably rather at least be ABLE to go somewhere than have to sit around and mope.

And---and your bakery isn't a wizarding place? As in----you don't use magic at all? People don't need escorts to go to non wizarding places.

I'm complaining about how rediculous this law is.

No, Bess, we use magic. We work at Rosalind's house though, and sell them through her Grandmother's bakery. They can't get to the bakery which is a wizarding establishmenr, which means that the only way they can get thier good is to order them directly from us.
