During the BL Expansion
As the trouble got worse and worse, GK tried to keep checking on the Triangle. The zombies seemed a bit more focused uptown still, at least. But the reports were getting too much for anyone to ignore. Michelle Torres, if she was anything worth Zoe asking him to watch out for her, would probably be worrying about Zoe in turn.

So he texts the lawyer. This time, he doesn't do anything to hide his number. Texting was the only option. If they talked, she'd want to speak to Zoe, who was with the Green Lanterns. Fortunately, she'd probably just assume texting was the best reception could manage right now.

Damn it, why was it so hard to find the punctuation marks on these things?
Ms Torres, Zoes OK. Streets just not safe. Zoe's friend, GK Walker.

With the city going into lock down, Michelle had been trying to call Zoe every five minutes. Her daughter was smart and capable, but with everything happening she could help but Worry. Her next step would be to go out looking for Zoe, but Michelle hadn't yet. She had no idea where Zoe would likely be at this time of day. It was obvious to her now she had no clue what was going on in her daughter's life.

The text was a relief and an extra worry. She had to know more.

GK thought on that for a while and waited a bit before eventually giving the best answer he could think of until Zoe was back in town from wherever the Green Lanterns Gone Multicolor were doing stuff.

Trying. Most phones having trouble here. She wants u safe so stay there. 2much Weird Crap. Ive got basement on Unio ave.

He hoped that had reasonably safeish overtones as much as possible. And hey, he hadn't technically lied, even.

	Why hadn't Zoe text her directly? Was she all right? Things /were/ odd with reports of zombies and city evacuations. It would be just like Zoe to keep her in the dark. /Tell me where & I will be there asap/ (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
