Child welfare was a kind of charity that the Dibnys normally supported. Though Annie had honestly lost track of how many various charities her family was involved in, especially when they went to so many functions. Still, even though they could be boring, at least the food was almost always good.
And it was a good excuse to wear the
new purple dress her and her mom had picked out on a recent shopping trip.
Annie wandered around the room, just looking around to see who was there. Sometimes she ran into people that she knew.
