Rose didn't get involved in vengeance. She was just here to save someone from dying. She knew these men had forfeited any need for compassion from her but she still wouldn't kill them.
His vengeance was a kind of justice anyways though she wouldn't mistake it for the kind of justice she would prefer.
"Thanks. If you hadn't arrived I might not have been able to rescue the girl."
