It would seem as though he feels he never found his purpose in life, so he left behind his family and friends to go look for it.
He didn’t tell me, I found out through Phoebe who came to Mungo’s hoping I had seen him. She, unfortunately, found out through a letter he left on their kitchen counter. A sodding letter.
I gave up on trying to make sense of it.
