Flashback: Independence Day
All day she had bitten her tongue and followed orders, but when midnight rolled around and Sebastian Shaw came to Christina with a birthday "gift," she had a little surprise of her own.  December 13th wasn't her birthday; it was independence day.

A little after one she arrived on Julian's doorstep not entirely certain she'd be welcome, but it was the only place she could think to go.

Minnie just giggles, squeezes Tina's hand, and cuddles beside Julian.

Tina returns Minnie's squeeze and settles a bit, closing her eyes. It's been a long time since she really slept and in short order, she's asleep.
