Just as the enemy seems to be adapting to these tactics, Sarah shifts. The hammer comes down once, then again, and lightning arcs through the skies, lancing down into the street below.
Sure, her accuracy with this is horrible. They just have no way of knowing that she's just taking advantage of everything below being a viable target.
That causes enough hesitation that she's able to slam a bunch off the rooftop, forcing them to start marshalling forces anew, and leaving Liv fighting two or three at a time, with her back covered.
And to Sarah's surprise, it seems to be making a difference. the numbers are finally starting to thin.
