Patriot shakes his head. They've been given some strange assignments over the years. But this one?

To find the last Slip N' Slide in the city, and turn it in to Toys For Tots?

The team had split up, leaving Patriot with Doc Spectrum and the new guy, Black Tom.

"Any ideas where we should start?"

	Tom shrugged, bewildered. Wierd shit was not something he was unacquainted with, but saving the universe by way of company takeover really took the cake. "I... suppose we should go to the Slip N' Slide?" He paused, took a sup from his canteen. "What the hell is a Slip 'N Slide, anyway? Like a Toys 'R' Us?" (Reply to this)(Thread)

	"...Right." Tom eyed Bucky dubiously. "I have to be honest, man, I'm not really the best at the whole 'locating children's toys' thing. I had trouble with it when I was getting Theresa her stuff for her birthday." He took another swig from the canteen. There was a slight whiff of booze. "Right." He glanced about for a moment, considering.

"...You know, this'd probably be easier if we hadn't split up," he said, thoughtfully. "I mean... it's not really like we're gonna get into that much trouble, right? For purchasing stuff and giving it to people? In fact, technically that's a charitable action, right? So not one that's going to attract some nut-case with a bad codename and awful taste in spandex?"

He continued to ramble as he began to walk, seemingly at random, down the sidewalk, swigging away at his canteen as he went.

	Bucky chuckles and pats his ally on the shoulder. "You'll get the hang of this crap soon. And be ready for anything." He heads down the street to look for the closest toy store, such as a Wal-Mart or something of the sort. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

They turn a corner and find a Wal-Mart before them. Patriot watches in shock as he sees the battles taking place in the parking lot over a few shopping carts -- particularly because each person seems to have super powers of their own. One person blasts another with a freeze-ray, grabbing the shopping cart, only to be electrocuted by someone else who steals the cart and runs towards the storefront, past a man made of stone who attempted to stop her with fists that could crack concrete.

"...how much do you want to bet that the Slip-n'-slide is in there, gentlemen?" Bucky sighs finally.

Inside the Wal-Mart, there are occasional blasts of energy spotted through the windows.

Tom stares for a long moment, his canteen half-way to his lips. He eyes it, dubiously, and sniffs it. But it seems no one has spiked his booze, and the scene in front of him is actually happening.

Oh, joy.

"This has 'long day' written all over it. In huge green neon letters." He takes another pull of the canteen, and then offers it round. No-one should be forced to see something like this sober.

	Sarah catches up with the others, and eyes the battle going on in front of her. "No wonder they need heroes to get the charity a toy here, someone could lose an arm in there."
