It is an odd phrase, isn't it? They'd gotten off to such an awkward start, not at all like any of Minnie's other friendships. Minnie still didn't think Lisa fully understood Minnie's beloved Master, but ...maybe she was starting to. And certainly, she and Lisa had gotten... closer and more comfortable since this new idea was implemented.
