Minnie reaches, but before slipping the dress off the shoulders, she realizes that's not where one has to start removing a dress like this.
One has to start with the belt.
And so she reaches, and near reverently undoes the belt, sliding it slowly out of its loops, her eyes shutting. Also reverently, she kisses the leather before putting it down on the bed, still within Lisa's reach.
Then she can proceed in helping her out of the dress.
