But when the music started; something drew me to your side
Minnie couldn't sleep. And going to Julian wasn't an option, as he was...occupied. So she put on her club clothes -- not the performing kind, but they resembled them in many ways -- and went out.

She'd met NICH Machinegun in passing; Julian had quickly introduced her as his assistant, and they'd moved on. But she'd reviewed the personal schedules of all of X-Factor extensively. And she decided to watch DJ Whedon spin.

	DJ is in his spinning outfit - which is to say he still has his jeans on, to go with the sheen of sweat. The crowd and the music are both eclectic - she enters to the sound of Richard Hell and the Voidoids' Blank Generation, the DJ rocking right along, moving directly into something heavier with Pennywise's 6th Avenue Nightmare. as the former song ends. Minnie looks up to smile at DJ at some point, but doesn't work much at getting his attention. Well, anymore than she'll eventually get several people's attention, just because.

Neither song is her particular specialty as a professional dancer, but that doesn't mean it's out of her range. She gets herself going, works off a little stress, and as the song changes, she picks up the tempo and gets a little more ...martial in her dancing, really. Like she could at any minute bypass a move to the mosh-pit style and go straight to actually stabbing people who'd barely notice the change in the carriage of her arms before it happened.

...In the right circumstances she could, really, but that's no one's business but hers and Julian's.

Its not long before he notices her - dancers with some real art, and some real aggression, tend to get his attention before too long. Her face looks familiar, but he's not placing it at the moment... not that he minds. Its not her face getting most of his attention.

He lets Pennywise die down, then throws something on even more martial, putting Arson Attack on, picking things up yet another notch.

	And soon Minnie's whirling in an almost blazing kind of way, arms alternately flowing and flailing and snapping back into position. Some people aren't really sure what to do but give the tiny woman some space. ...Goodness, that song was rather depressing when one listened to it. Better to get lost. That song gets followed by a 'dance break', the DJ leaving the table with Tiger Army playing - no one should mind much if it goes a couple songs while he hits the dance floor.

By now, most of the crowd has given Minnie some space - which he promptly enters. Its too loud right up front to talk, but he dares dance with her, matching her aggression and speed, having watched enough of her moves by now to mirror at least the most common of them.

	And when Minnie sees what he's doing, she's very willing to respond to incorporate him, her face lighting up with something of a razorblade smile. It's good catharsis, dancing like this. She's got enough issues to get off her chest. Or... Well, when the song ended, those little hands reached right out and and pulled him sharply down into a kiss. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Grateful that the place is too dark and crowded for paparazzi -- she doesn't need the press -- Minnie will enjoy that rather fiercely for a bit, fingers digging into his shoulders. Then eventually, she'll have break, sweaty and breathing hard, to get herself a drink. "Thank you, Mr. Whedon," she enunciates as best possible, smiling. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He looks like he usually does after a show - showered, but obviously in a tiny stall, so still bearing the hallmarks of a long night out aside from not smelling entirely of sweat, booze and pot - only a little. He's got his 'God Save the Queen' t-shirt back to go with the jeans. Despite the late hour, he looks quite happy to be here, and even mostly coffee-enhanced-awake.
