But when the music started; something drew me to your side
Minnie couldn't sleep. And going to Julian wasn't an option, as he was...occupied. So she put on her club clothes -- not the performing kind, but they resembled them in many ways -- and went out.

She'd met NICH Machinegun in passing; Julian had quickly introduced her as his assistant, and they'd moved on. But she'd reviewed the personal schedules of all of X-Factor extensively. And she decided to watch DJ Whedon spin.

He looks like he usually does after a show - showered, but obviously in a tiny stall, so still bearing the hallmarks of a long night out aside from not smelling entirely of sweat, booze and pot - only a little. He's got his 'God Save the Queen' t-shirt back to go with the jeans. Despite the late hour, he looks quite happy to be here, and even mostly coffee-enhanced-awake.

"Very good. Devil's Whore, too, but this one's a little more..." She grins over her shoulder back at him. "Cliche. Hope you enjoy."

She puts on 'My Angel Put the Devil in Me,' and as she struts away from the stereo to her lounge chair, there might as well be a stage with spotlights. Every little turn, every extension of her arms, the way she reaches playfully to her shoulder with her teeth to tug the the ties there until the gown starts to come undone -- it's all quite the professional performance, even in such an enclosed setting. It's also terrible fun, and Minnie certainly looks like she's enjoying it.

	It looks like the enjoyment goes both ways. DJ taps his foot in time with the beat, obviously familiar with the song - it may be cliche for the performance... but cliches usually got that way for a reason. He even whistles appreciatively as the straps come undone, playing proper burlesque audience. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Minnie gives a thin but appreciative smile. It's always nice when the other parties can play their role.

The other shoulder is undone in another series of struck poses, and as she stands, struts and sways, headed closer to DJ, the gown starts to come off, leaving just the bodice and other underthings. In the middle of a drawn-out turn, she bends almost completely backwards, her back hovering just a few inches above DJ's knees. Another bright smile for her guest as she wiggles her hips just enough to get the gown pooled at her feet, then carefully snaps up to a standing position.

And she struts back to her lounge chair, and then there's a series of sitting/lying down/generally showing off the lines of her figure better than some people might assume could be done with such a small person.

As she did so, she reflected on DJ, especially whenever she met his eyes. Nice, sweet boy. Fun. She wondered if she would worry about the issues that had driven her out into the night. No, better not to. Nice colors, DJ had. Something very primal to them. That figured, of course.

And the fun continues. The very last section of the dance involves unlacing her bodice while lying on her stomach facing him on her chair, and letting it fall with a very nice side view, then holding it to her as she gets up. As the song ends, she gives a proper performer's bow, arms stretgically placed to cover as the bodice drops to the floor, and she scoops up her the unfolded gown on the floor to drape it around her, a classic burlesque ending of minimal-undressed-time.

She smiles. "You're a fantastic audience, DJ."
