He lets her catch a few more breaths, but that's about it. He helps her stand, before pressing her back up to the wall, letting that brace her back while he gets his hands under her thighs so he can pick her up, not just up against the wall, but lifting almost her full weight, letting her wrap her legs around him as he eases her down onto him.
