Calling Sister Midnight; I'm an Idiot for You.
'Sister Midnight' is playing. The girl wearing nothing but high-quality leather binding over the most necessary places and knee-high boots with six-inch heels --that still don't make her very tall -- looks lost in the dance. And oh, does Minnie love to dance, but she's not as entranced as, say, most of the people with their eyes on her.

She's watching. Watching the dazzle and flow of energy throughout the club. And then out of the office comes a particularly lovely light. As usual, he's like the sun coming out from between the clouds.

As the song ends, she's very still for a bit while she still has so much attention on her. At least no one will lay a hand on her. It doesn't take long to make clear that she's picky about that when it's not convenient to avoid being picky.

"True. It's like no one's figured out that hiring a few mutants might help when the people coming to wreck things are mutants. I'm constantly amazed at the lack of forethought most humans put into things." Julian says.

"Can you do this, Minnie?" he asks. "Tell me now if you can't. I wouldn't hold it against you."

"One type of organizer is burdened by optimism, others are just too hidebound not to do things 'the old-fashioned way.'"

"I can for you," she insists firmly.

This time, Julian does kiss Minnie, beginning to draw upon her life force to replenish himself.

His hunger answers the call as it is finally sated by something other than 'human'.

And Minnie kisses back happily, feeling that cool, drained sort of tingle as he feeds off her, seeing through her half-lidded eyes as he lights up so nicely, curling up more in his lap as the kiss wears on and she grows tired.

Julian feeds deeply, kissing Minnie for some time before he reminds himself that he cannot kill her. He pulls back, ending his feeding and letting Minnie curl up against him.

He hasn't been full like this in ages. Goddess, it felt good.

"Minnie. Are you alright?" he asks.

A soft affirming sound. She's drained. Lightheaded. Couldn't get up from his lap if her life depended on it. What movement she can make is just more cuddling, still hazily eager for Julian's touch.

What can she say, she's a tactile girl.

"M'okay. You?"
