Characters: Mackenzie, Hunter and eventually Sera
Setting: The morning after Homecoming, Mack's room.
Rating: Are they ever safe for work? Probably just language, and Mack and Hunter.
Content: Mackenzie wakes up incredibly hung over and with no memory of what went down at homecoming. Hunter and Sera fill in the blanks, and tell her how stupid she was. And of course, Hunter has to poke fun just a little.
It was a slow return to consciousness, Mackenzie could feel her brain start working again before she opened her eyes. Once she did open her eyes, she regretted it instantly. It was like someone had stuck a knife into each of her eyes, causing her to hiss in pain and bury her head in her pillow. She felt like the whole room was spinning madly, and she felt her stomach flop around a few times. Her mouth was dry and tasted like vomit, she couldn’t remember vomiting last night though. Springing from her bed as quickly as possible, she made a beeline for the bathroom, nearly tripping over Hunter’s sleeping form on her floor.
Once she reached the bathroom, she dry heaved a few times before throwing up what was left in her stomach. She all but collapsed on the floor, resting her face against the cool porcelain of the toilet and closing her eyes. What the hell had happened last night? She didn’t remember drinking this much, she never drank this much. The last time she had been this hungover was back in high school.
Groaning, she cracked an eye open to see if Hunter had been woken up by her mad dash to the toilet. She didn’t remember the other girl being in her room last night, hadn’t it been homecoming? She had been positive that Hunter had gone with Michi, had they gotten in a fight? It was strange that Hunter was sleeping over at her room when the logical chain of events would have been to stay with her girlfriend.
“Hunt,” she rasped, her voice as hoarse. She hadn’t realized how much her throat hurt until she tried to speak, it was almost like she had been screaming the night before. She swallowed, hoping that Hunter might be awake. She really didn’t feel like dragging herself away from the toilet right now, she didn’t know if her body had the energy. “Hunter,” she said a little louder. Grabbing a tube of toothpaste and chucking it out the bathroom door in hopes to get the blondes attention.
