Hey, y'all. Hawky here with my one old-timer.

Mayra here's pretty much unchanged in personality and history. There's a few tweaks here and there; she's in Rienzi now, a senior, lapsed/casual Catholic as opposed to Methodist. Some facts about her family have changed but nothing major, and her bio is [here] for perusal.

The main change is that yay, the school's giving her help! Via grant money they're providing her with her translating jewelry, and probably a para for some classes! So she's not quite so angry at them all the time, and struggling a little less with her schoolwork.

She's in quodpot and the historical society, and needs friends, enemies, acquaintances, people to help her with oral pronunciation, guys for her to play grab-ass with, etc.

Ou tof all my kids I think Charlie would know her best! They're both in the same grade and he likes her no shit attitude ;)

Her and Mari are in the same house, perhaps she finds Mari a little annoying?

I'd say Tatum is probably off of Mayra's radar, and vice versa. I doubt they run in the same crowd at all. The same probably goes for Jenny, unless she knows her through Charlie? Or just from seeing her cheering during quodpot games? Idek!

Hunter could go either way. I think she might find Hunter a teensy bit annoying, maybe? But they're in the same house, same team, both into sports, and Hunter could potentially end up as her team captain for the year, and frankly.. Hunter loves her team whole-heartedly, whether they like it or not. :| SO whatever you think for them, I'm up for!

I think Vinnie would like Mayra. She's got a strong personality and a strong sense of who she is and he likes that. And he's an Italian, so he talks with his hands as it is XD Seriously, he would love to learn ASL to be able to communicate better with her. How do you say "beautiful" in sign? ;-)

Rowan would possibly know her through Keegan at least? and would love to help her with her oral pronunciation. Maybe not friends exactly, but close to it? I'd love to see what happens here!

Haha, Mayra would like Vinnie, pretty sure. Who doesn't? But a lot. He's probably one of the people she'd be more willing to teach ASL to, if only so the over-the-top flirting doesn't need translation.

Rowan and Mayra could be interesting! They'd definitely know each other through Keegan, and Mayra's always looking for someone willing to sit around for hours repeating things with her hand on their throat. Especially if Rowan's patient enough to deal with how frustrated Mayra can get.
