open to lewis
Ever since Shiloh's little... impromtu date walk with Morris, he couldn't get the necromancer out of his head. He was anxious and on cloud nine, and it was obvious to everyone in the house. After dinner, he headed up to see if Lewis was in his room, and he knocked lightly on the door before he poked his head inside.

"Lewis?" he called out, smiling when he spotted the boy sprawled out on his bed. He headed over to climb up onto it with him, and he gently poked Lewis in the ribs. "What're you doing? It's too early to be asleep," he teased.

After a moment, he laid down next to the other boy and stretched out. He wanted to ask Lewis about a million questions, but he was feeling a little shy about it. When it came to sex, Shiloh was very unexperienced. He'd only slept with a person once, and that was Elgyn, and that wasn't exactly a good first time.

Lewis covered his mouth to stifle the snork of laughter. Bernadette looked innocent, perplexed by what they could be talking about. To torment Shiloh more, she walked to the end of the couch and bent down to pick up the large sparkly purple penis so she could hold it up to examine it as she would a fascinating bit of machinery. "This?" she asked sweetly.

That was all Lewis could stand and he burst into a fit of laughter. Bernie just smiled and reached over to pinch Shiloh's pink cheek. "It's all right dear."

	Shiloh felt as if he were about to die, absolutely die, but when Bernie plucked up the sparkly purple penis he nearly choked. He blinked a few times, looking like a deer in headlights, and when she pinched his cheek he furrowed his brow. "Oh, I know they're Lewis's. I've seen Elgyn use them on him. I've used them on him." Her comment was completely casual. Bernadette was anything but innocent. She liked to fuck, never to be fucked and when she got on a sexual kick, she was very demanding. Those were few and far between though, and probably for the good of the whole mansion.

Now it was Lewis's turn to blush and his face turned bright pink as he looked away from the both of them, back at the television screen as if the show had just gotten very interesting. It was almost impossible to make Lewis blush.

	Shiloh blinked in surprise, and he glanced at Lewis. To see Lewis blushing was even more shocking, and for a moment Shiloh wasn't sure what to do. Blinking some more, he looked back to Bernie, and then at the TV. "Well I hope you cleaned them," he said quietly to Lewis with a faint smile. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Bernie sighed and flopped down between them. "What in God's name are you watching?" The spastic show flitted from scene to scene, claymation all over the place and she quirked her head to the side.

Lewis shifted to make room for her, muttering something about 'they're clean' to Shiloh. "It's Robot Chicken," he said, leaning up against Bernadette.

Bernie glanced at Shiloh and slipped her arm around him as well. She'd only be able to stand a few minutes of the television. "You were talking about Morris, I assume," she said to him quietly.

Bernie adored Shiloh's inexperience. "No, I don't think that matters in the least." She was feeling very amiable today, perfectly all right with the fact that Shiloh had found someone to be interested in like that. Granted, it wasn't guaranteed she'd be feeling so pleased with it tomorrow, or the next day.

"That man seems fairly reserved. He probably likes it that you don't have a lot of experience."

Shiloh chewed on the inside of his lower lip as he turned more into Bernie and pressed his face against her shoulder. He'd never had a strong mother figure, and Bernie had definitely become that. The idea of leaving her was devastating, and he wondered what Morris would think of that. He couldn't - wouldn't give her up.

"I hope so," he said softly. "Do you think he's very experienced?"

"An uncontrolled necromancer? I can almost guarantee that he hasn't had a lot of experience." She kept the disdain from her voice. Yes, she was dead herself, but she certainly wasn't rotting and ugh, she could just imagine the kind of stuff that Morris dealt with. Still, she was rather proud of Shiloh that it didn't bother him. The grotesque could be strangely beautiful. "You have nothing to worry about, darling."

	Shiloh felt better all ready. If Bernie said he had nothing to worry about, and that things would be all right, he believed her. Maybe he was naive, but he trusted Bernie more than himself sometimes. Most of the time. It was just... easier that way. "Danielle says I'm too skinny," he said, changing the subject for now. Bernie grinned. She liked the way Danielle said whatever was on her mind. "She's just jealous that no one gets you but me." Bernadette had gone from preferring that no one else fed from Shiloh to having a strict dibs policy on him. More than likely someday she would ease up and let other members of the household use him for food, but right now he was her favorite.

Lewis shifted a little. He didn't know if Shiloh could handle being at the beck and call of everyone. Though he knew the boy was deceptively strong. "You are too skinny though," he piped up and Bernadette gasped and gave him a few tuts.

Shiloh very much enjoyed being Bernie's favorite. He always feared that one day, he wouldn't be. He was just a human after all, a small chapter in her very long life. But he pushed those negative thoughts away as best as he could and tried to focus on the here and now. At Lewis's words, he poked the other boy and made a little face.

"I eat, I don't know where it goes," he said softly.

She had lived a relatively long time already and understood better than anyone the fleeting nature of human life. She didn't suppose Elgyn would let Lewis get old, especially not now that he was vying to start feeding him vampire blood to bind him. But Shiloh--he would grow old and die and at the moment, she didn't like that idea. Granted, she'd felt that way about people before and let them do exactly that anyway. But before she could get too deep into the thought process, she let her mind drift back to where they were.

"So many humans would kill to have your metabolism," she mused. The show was getting to be too much and she unravelled herself from the two of them. "I don't know how your brains don't rot."

	When Bernie started to pull away, Shiloh let her, though he definitely looked forlorn at the loss of her physical comfort. "Because we're around you, that's why not," he told her simply, as if she could keep the both of them very smart and on par. 	It was so nice to have lived to a time when being a woman had no bearing on the estimate of her intelligence. It made her smile some more and she leaned down to kiss the top of Shiloh's head and then Lewis's before she left the room. As soon as she left, Lewis laughed a little. 	Shiloh wanted to get up and trail after Bernie like a little puppy dog, but he sighed instead and just watched her go before he turned to cuddle up against Lewis. 	Bernie's cool skin was always nice, like flipping the pillow over in the middle of the night for the fresh side. But he liked Shiloh's warmth and he scooted close to it. 	That sounded like good logic to Lewis. He nodded. "There's more to liking someone than kissing, but I doubt he would have been eager to see you again if you'd been terrible." Lewis grinned. 	Shiloh smiled softly, and though he was blushing, he very much appreciated the compliment. If he ever needed an ego boost, he knew Lewis would be the one to give it to him. 	Lewis leaned up to kiss his forehead like Bernadette had done. "If I put on an other disc and fall asleep on the couch, will you stay with me for a little while?" He didn't like the idea of Shiloh leaving right away. Somehow, he thought he would know and wake up and be lonely and that was the last thing Lewis wanted. He was so susceptible to feeling lonely.
