Well, that didn't make things any easier. Robert needed to cover the guy's escape so that they didn't both get busted.
Merlyn follows the other guy out of the detainment area, sprinting up to the roof. Once he's there, he'll look to see which way his impromptu partner went.
He needs to make sure this guy doesn't come back tomorrow and confess or something crazy.
The Artist is left in his cell with an arrow in his face, dead as a doornail.
