"No, no, you don't need to be sorry. I, uhm..." he isn't exactly objecting to this plan. He's just never put much thought into dating. Not that this is a date, exactly, right? Or is it?
Other times, he might object more, or be more concerned with a maybe-a-date with someone from another dimension. A goddess no less. With all that's happened lately, though, its kind of nice to just have something... good, or sort of good, or something like it happening.
