This is about the time he notices he hasn't touched his hot chocolate in a while, and he's still holding her hand. There's a bit of a pauuse while he turns red again and tries to find words. Weird, he's not usually this awkward.
"It is... but I was, uhm, wondering... when we're done here, would you like to have dinner with me?"
